Will my Home Insurance company pay for my roof?
A big question we get often is will your insurance cover your new roof? The answer is, it depends. It depends on why you need a new roof. If you have gotten storm damage, then your insurance will most likely cover your new roof. Although, it depends on the level of damage. If the roof can be repaired, then they will pay for a repair but not a new roof. Your adjuster and roofing company can explain things further.
If you have damage and are not sure what you need to do to get your insurance company involved, ask. We have worked with 1000s of insurance companies. Typically, we will know the steps that you need to take to get your insurance company involved. If you have questions, we are here and happy to help.
Roof replacement due to age.
If your roof needs to be replaced or repaired due to age, then your insurance company will not help with that. You will have to pay out of pocket, however, we do offer to financing options if need be. We can take some time to get you a proper quote that will explain what we suggest doing to move forward.
When our homes get hit by storms, many of us don’t know how to deal with our homeowner’s insurance to help with repairs. Yet we are here to help or better yet contact an adjuster and they can explain/help in the process.
Call as soon as you see a roofing problem.
Don’t wait until your roof is leaking everywhere. Call at the first sign of a roofing problem. This will save you costs of removing and reinstalling wet insulation and the cost of the underlying wood. As soon as there is a sign that there is a roofing problem at all, call roofing right away.
Now don’t just call any roofing company. Be sure that you call someone local that has great reviews online. Check around and see what others are saying about the company. We are one of the best roofing companies in Southern Florida and once you poke around; we think you will agree. This step can save you time and hassle later.
We take great pride in keeping our roofing installations on time and budget. What we quote you, we will stick to. However, if we discover something out of the ordinary, we will alert you right away. We will lay everything out and let you decide the best course of action.
