Roger Blair joined Aastro Roofing Company in 2021 after a career spanning roofing and international corporate operations. He helps keep Aastro supplied, organized, and moving through purchasing, fleet management, warehouse coordination, inventory control, and production logistics.

Roofing Experience and International Corporate Discipline

Roger Blair brings a combination of lifelong roofing-industry experience, international corporate experience, and operational management to his role at Aastro Roofing Company. A third-generation member of the Blair family with roots in the roofing trade, Roger grew up in Hazel Park, Michigan.

Roger learned roofing from the ground up. He spent years working in the trade and developing firsthand knowledge of roofing materials, jobsite operations, equipment, crews, and the logistics required to keep roofing projects moving efficiently.

In the early 2000s, his career took a different direction when he moved to Switzerland and built a long career in an international corporate environment associated with Procter & Gamble. He spent approximately two decades working in an executive-support capacity and developing disciplined organizational and administrative skills.

Returning to Roofing with a Broader Perspective

After retiring from Procter & Gamble, Roger returned to the United States and joined Aastro Roofing Company in 2021.

He returned with both the practical knowledge of someone who had grown up around roofing and the organizational experience developed through years in a major global company.

That combination gives Roger an unusual perspective on the systems, coordination, and accountability required behind a professional roofing operation.

Fleet, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production Logistics

Today, Roger oversees major portions of Aastro’s fleet management, purchasing, material acquisition, warehouse operations, and production logistics.

A roofing contractor operating at Aastro’s scale depends on having the correct materials, equipment, vehicles, and supplies available when production teams need them. Roger helps coordinate roofing-material purchasing, material requisitions, vendor relationships, inventory control, warehouse organization, price management, fleet maintenance, and material availability.

Roofing projects can require hundreds of individual components—from tile, shingles, metal panels, membranes, underlayments, fasteners, adhesives, flashing materials, vents, and accessories to equipment and specialty products. Roger helps ensure those materials are acquired, accounted for, organized, and available when needed.

The Operational Infrastructure Behind the Crews

Roger also helps oversee Aastro’s vehicle fleet. Trucks and company vehicles transport personnel, equipment, materials, and supplies between the warehouse and jobsites throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties.

His position interacts with nearly every operational department. Purchasing connects him with suppliers and manufacturers. Fleet management supports field personnel. Warehouse operations support production and service crews. Material acquisition connects directly with project schedules and roofing installations.

Since joining Aastro in 2021, Roger has become a key part of the infrastructure behind the company’s residential and commercial roofing operations. He helps keep the operation supplied, maintained, organized, and moving.
